Here's my recommendation: when you get the box with the tea maker home, carefully remove the large white item with the electrical cord, and throw it away. There is a blue basket with a lid that has a semi-circular opening in it. Keep the basket, toss the lid. Get a large Pyrex measuring cup, and heat the recommended amount of water to a boil in a microwave.
Meanwhile, fill the carafe with ice as recommended. Put two family-size tea bags into the basket, and place the basket into the top of the carafe. When the water is ready, pour it over the tea bags and enjoy.
The problem is that the white part of the tea maker starts by leaving an amount of unused water in the tank. If you use the machine, you will notice that the amout of tea produced decreases with each batch, and the machine has even more water in it until you only get about 1/4 of a carafe of tea, and excess water overflowing everywhere.

The 2g you were looking at was referring to the serving size, which was 1/4 of one of those family size bags. Those are not regular tea bags lol. That’s some strong tea 😂

Awesome, thanks for the video and for showing the manual. Although loading the machine is pretty much self explanatory, I wasn’t sure if it was appropriate to use coffee or even how much. I just popped in a Cold Brew bag that I had lying around. I hope it turns out well, as I had to us All of my ice. btw, your machine is nice looking- mine is an old one thats orange and looks less streamlined than yours.

Just watched this video to refresh my memory. I like my cold tea sweet, but hot doesn't matter for me. I'm adding "kool aid" packet to mine. It'll have a unique taste in combination with the Tea.
