Awesome review, I bit the bullet and bought them on Prime Day while they were on sale, I’m currently waiting for them to arrive and if I don’t like them imma return them. Did alot of research and after consulting with my coworker I got them but got the warranty cuz I heard they can have connectivity problems (then again I think she got them on launch day which is a bad idea for ANY product, never get launch day product they always have a shit ton of issues) but I did hear a lot of overwhelming good about them plus I love the metal build quality as compared to plastic ones (I’m scarred from Beats falling apart of u breath on them lol). I’m not an audiophile but it’s been hard finding non biased reviews on the products (though there were two issue we all agreed on) because of some people’s genuine disdain for Apple, so I decided to buy and see for myself. Hope I made the right choice, if not I’ll just return them and wait till Black Friday and get the Sony XM4s or XM5s. We will see.

Hi, great video! I'm an audiophile so I come from a completely different perspective on headphones, I have about 10 pairs at the moment for some context. I agree with your first impressions, I wasn't sold on them initially either. My biggest issue, and the reason I returned them was that for an extra 200 bucks you can get a pair of Focal Bathys (another pair of Bluetooth noise cancelling headphones) which are actually competitive with proper audiophile headphones. The airpods sound decent for noise cancelling headphones but they are similar in sound quality to some of my more budget 150-250 dollar headphones in my collection.
in summary, the airpods are good if you are in the apple ecosystem and want ease of use but there are more competitive anc headphones around 500 bucks

I definitely found it worth it for $396 Amazon Prime Day! I got them in black last week as well from Amazon 😂❤
I love them!!


PS: I use them for everything except the gym.
