Come, Follow Me is a resource offered by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is designed to be used in the home to support personal and family scripture study to build faith in Heavenly Father and His plan of salvation and in the Savior Jesus Christ and His Atonement. Come, Follow Me is self-contained and adequate, when used properly. Products and materials designed to supplement this resource, though they may be helpful in some instances, are not necessary for a successful home study program.

I was a missionary during Covid and my companion likened the wood vs. cement houses to using social media vs. knocking doors. She talked about how they both work in spreading the gospel, different times just call for a different approach! I thought that was very insightful and would have never thought about it that way. Just thought I’d share! :)

Can I just say how much I love Grace? And I love how even David is blown away by her insights! Thank you both!!!

Helaman Chapter 2 reminds me of what we learn from the temple endowment session-we can run away according to Satan's plan and try to hide, or we can do according to Heavenly Father's plan and run to our trusted Friend for help.

God is good, He never forget you. Come unto Him, repent and always remember him. Thank you very much.😍👏

Aminadab— he’s my new fav. Thx, Grace, for helping me see him. How have I always overlooked him before? Had his mother been praying for him to remember? Had his father been asking God to help him see His hand in his life? I want to know more of his story.

A little off topic…
When you were talking about gifting; I thought about the bodies Heavenly Father gave us and the way we treat our bodies or the things we don’t like about ourselves. How we must sadden our Father in Heaven. …
I enjoy your messages, insights and enthusiasm!

I loved the insight that the two great commandments counter pride: Love God/Love People

Had several goosebump moments. WHAT? No list? Actually, I was looking forward to your list. ~ God doesn't give up on us, no matter what. Thank goodness for these spiritual moments.

Love the comments on Chapt 3 and Rest. Remember this, once Heavenly Father wrapped up the 6 days of creation, he rested.... He had organized the chaos into a world where he would reign and oversee the progress of mankind. He rested on his throne. We, through our belief, obedience and keeping of covenants and then invited to his right hand to rest (or reign) with him. There is a clear path to our Heavenly Father's home.

Interesting point. None of Alma’s wars were started by the Lamanites themselves. They were all started by dissenting Nephites.

Super lesson! I am a retired school teacher. I was always anxious for the first day. “First Day Jitters” by Julie Danneberg” is a cute book to read about school starting. 😉
Keep up the good work you two!

Reminds me of C.S. Lewis’ book “The Great Divorce” where the great lady in heaven was not anyone famous on earth. That stuff does not matter in heaven. What matters is HOW you are, not WHO you are in the worldly sense. We’ll fit in with everyone else who was good and followed Christ.

Hey guys, Helamen 3:28 does say Jesus Christ. You said at the beginning of this lesson that the Book of Helamen does not say Jesus Christ in the entire book. ???
