My dad has for many years protected a particular patch of clover under the hickory tree in the barnyard that produces a higher than average number of 4 leafs. 🍀😁

Ever since about age 6 (69 now) it's been something I enjoy doing. I will scan over a patch and get the feeling right away whether or not it's a good spot. If I don't find several right away I move on to another spot. In my years of hunting I've found probably a 1000 or more.

At my bus stop there is a clover patch with 4, 5, 6, and 7 leaf clovers if I had time I could probably find at least 30 in 5 minutes but normally just pick one every morning

I find 4 leaf clovers all the time. For some reason they just stand out to me. When I’m walking, I’ll just notice it looking different from the others. Most often I just leave them, but if I’m at home in my yard, I’ll sometimes pick and press them. I’ve found literally hundreds in my life.

I have found that where you find one, you find more as that patch had the genetic mutation in the root system. I have books and books with four leaf clovers pressed between the pages.

We always call the wood sorrel sourgrass and I've used that and well sometimes it's called Deer Grass or Shamrocks but it's all the same thing out west they grow big around the East Coast are a lot smaller but I use them in the belly of fish and it kind of Acts just like lemon

I've found them quite often throughout my life. Often enough that I just leave them to grow, and maybe let someone else find it, heh.

I found one when I was little and was told it's not a clover cause the Clover's are heart shaped so thank you for telling me I was right about something else so little when I lived care free as a little one.
