Crazy that people bicker about this, when having an educated population is the entire basis of American industry, our role in geopolitics was built on the back of the most college educated workforce in the world.
People want to argue wether someone deserves an education!?!
We should be pushing people into 4 yr degrees, not penalizing them for it.

I agree. Basic education should be free including community and state colleges. . But if people choose the most expensive private schools to qualify them to be lawyers, doctors, senators, etc, it's on them, they will be able to afford to pay their debt. . Teachers, nurses, and many occupations need educated people but are not high paying jobs. Let's help them.
