We are going to win a trophy this season and it’ll be the first of many for Ange at Spurs. Take it to the bank. Just get behind him.

THE SMILE IS back!
Spurs were brilliant.
Bergvall, Kinský, Gray and Spence were FABULOUS.

I have a feeling that this win signals a turning point for this team. I hope I'm right. Nice work Al!

As a Slavia Prague fan I'm gonna miss Kinský for sure, hes great goalie, at 21 basicly made. Spurs picked up a gem right there.

I thought a new video chat would land tonight. Perfect viewing 👏🏻👍🏻

Good stuff on Bissouma. He was a little overlooked with our teenagers doing so well. Appreciate all the great info you consistently provide. COYS

Ange was very impressive in the last few games, especially yesterday, but don't forget that he was playing without any players to replace him. Liverpool made 5 changes and Postecoglou had no players on the bench. It was a great performance from all the players, be patient, support them as much as you can and in 2 years I'm sure they will make a very nice team.

This game showed how important it is to have a ball-playing keeper to completely destroy the ability of teams to press and undermine our defense

Thanks for this excellent and elucidating video, Alasdair. What a brilliant debut from Kinsky. I also like how he acknowledged the help the goalie coach and teammates gave him. And the skills and confidence of this young squad is really remarkable. I wasn’t aware that artificial turf is still used on some pitches—very concerning. Very good to hear that Ange is visualizing being manager beyond two years. I wondered why he wouldn’t stay to reap the benefits of this talented squad as they develop!

This game meant a lot to me, usually checking in from sunny Los Angeles but it’s not so sunny right now! On an absolute terrible day young Lucas Bergvall gave me a breath of fresh air. COYS!

If you think Stuart Atwell's whistle was loud you should have heard my roar when Bergvall's goal went in over here in Sweden. I scared the living bejesus out of the neighbours, woke the kids up and had a saucepan thrown at my head. Anfield will be a proper battle but this was a great result from this young, patched-up team.

Ange is building something special. This team is going to be incredible in a year or two.

These young players are getting such valuable experience in not only starting these huge games, but also getting that taste of victory, too.
I must remember to store these positive moments in my emotional fat reserves for when the going gets tough again - when we least expect it, no doubt.
This sets us up nicely for the NLD, although like you I shall watch it through my fingers.
Thanks as always Al 🌞

Archie Gray is a Swiss army knife of a player.

Trust in Ange, we are now starting to see the growth and progress that he says. Progress isn’t just league positioning, we are now seeing strong players throughout that will strengthen from the bench. Ange is building a squad.

Really really want to see Gray play in midfield soon 🙏

I really hope we win this season… the players and Ange deserve it. They are going through a very challenging period and the young players have been great

Alasdair, a long time ago when I was a young lad I was at Tottenham for Pat Jennings debut. I was a revelation. He caught the ball with ease with one hand at least one time which amazed and scared the crowd. Several times instead of catching and standing as the team moved up the field for the big boot he palmed the ball down from a cross, re-caught it and then threw it out immediately and almost to the half-way line- a Gaelic footie habit I suppose. Many folk in the crowd thought it was not normal goalkeeping and were worried but it was the most impressive debut for a goalkeeper i have seen, until last night. I think Vic may have a difficulty getting the gloves back!

People forget Ange was coach of Australian youth team and played a huge role in building the best era of Australian players globally

Fair play to Alasdair, said way back in the summer that Lucas bergvall will take his time and grow into the season and he was completely correct.
