Just hearing you mention AMC made me so excited Scotty. My first car in highschool was an 83 AMC Eagle SX4. I LOVED that car. Little hatchback with plenty of clearance and 4WD. my friends and I used to drive it down the creek and park it and jump off it into our swimming hole. I will never forget that car.

My only Jeep I had was a ‘93 Wrangler with the 4.0 six and 5 speed. Great tough little toy that was easy to work on and modify. Engine, if maintained, was good for 250-300k miles or more.

I’ve had a Jeep JL, JT, and a Toyota Tacoma 3.5. The taco is the only one that spent time in the shop for auto gearbox issues as well as many annoying interior rattles. I sold the JL with over 100, 000 miles on it and changed nothing more than the aux battery.

Toyota build quality is in the dump and has been declining since the death of the 4.7 V8 and the 4.0 V6

I used to ice skate at the Galleria, was an awesome mall. If it was exotic or high in the Galleria had it. I was there like a year ago, and it is going the same way of all malls in the Houston area. Closed up shops and the old big full-size ice rink was cut in half. Problems with high theft and the old days where high school students use to be the employees now it is like fast food. Employ nothing but work visa (Had a wreck recently with one of those), workers Last time I pulled up to wataburger and I would have done better hiring an interpreter and order in Spanish. Simple the import of cheap labor with Houston, Texas, a sanctuary city, which makes the death of the middle class. The Galleria was a middle class and high class mall. With the death of those who make enough to afford the things they want with luxurys now we are listing the nessisitys and have to pick the ones we need most and can afford.
