Dagon is a real good movie, the denizens of the village was very unsettling the noises they make, the way they move, and there appearance. I highly recommend it if you have not seen it.

I watch in the mouth of madness last night I don't see how it wasn't a number one hit. The perfect movie for lovecraft fans, and the actors they used made it that much better.

Black Mountain Side is another good one. Probably one of the best cosmic horrors I've seen.

First time I watched Prince of Darkness I was 15, it was on cable at midnight, I was in our darkened basement, and there was a very large mirror on the wall opposite me. I was freaked out.

The Mist movie has a different ending from the book. We are given hope for the main characters in the book while the end of the movie is the most shocking thing I ever saw. To me the Mist represents one of the most powerful statements about the self destructiveness of humanes through metaphor. I can barely tolerate horror movies after 1960, but declare this drama had me from the beginning to especially the surprise ending I wish I could wash out of my memory. Do not take your kids to this Stephen King thriller!

Call Girl of Cthulhu, one of the most underrated Lovecraftian movies.

The Endless was filmed in my hometown of San Deigo, a little to the east, but still San Diego.

Cthulhu (2007) is quite good, despite its micro-budget. It's probably one of the only works that captures the sense of ominousness and despair.
