Karate is one of the most worthless martial arts against a good fighter. Krav Maga has some tricks, but I have seen their best get embarrassed by someone even average in BJJ. Her description of her bar fight with punching a drunk guy is hardly true self defense. With her attitude, she is going to meet the wrong situation one day and be on the wrong end of it.
