After "Big in Japan", "Forever Young" is Alphaville's most popular title. The title has been used in films, television series and commercials.
For example, it was heard in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia episode 3 (alcohol problems), Queer as Folk season 1, episode 18, One Tree Hill season 4, episode 73 in the Film "Napoleon Dynamite", most recently in the feature film "Strawberry Bubblegums" released in 2016 and in an advertisement for the Swedish financial services group SEB Bank.

"Forever Young" reached number four in the German single charts and stayed in the top 10 for seven weeks and in the charts for 21 weeks.
The single reached number three in the Swiss hit parade and stayed in the top 10 for seven weeks and in the charts for 15 weeks.
The single peaked at number 98 in two weeks in the UK and number 65 in the US for a total of 18 weeks on the chart.
Furthermore, "Forever Young" was at the top of the Swedish singles chart for two weeks.

Sounds really good :) Very nice GDR pressing. Notice how Youtube added more volume on this? added 2.0db over 0.0db. On your Big In Japan it was - 2.7db which is really good. This is how the Youtube weird algorithm works on audio. That's why it's good to originally record it with a lower volume.
