DC needs to give up. Or better yet let Marvel make their movies for them.

if you cant read deeper into the complexity of BvS as compared to the flat out sugar coated simplicity of CW, then you will never get the essence if a movie like BvS. Problem with BvS was that you have a 3 hour movie( really a 4 hour full cut) that was cut down to 2 and a half. imagine how much of the story you lose when u take out 30 minutes.
The difference between DC movies and Marvel is that you actually have to watch DC movies multiple times to grasp and appreciate the film. MoS in my eyes is a masterful superman movie-after 2-3 watches.

with marvel, i just feel like every movie is the same. no one ever suffers consequences that actually matter. its Disnified! so for me i usually cant watch MCU movies more than onve, and dont really care to. X-men has always been a winner for me but thats about it

Hey at least this DC fan can admit when something DC made went wrong. Respect and props to him like others who will fight till Thanos's snap to defend BvS.

Dc movies have been shit. The only Dc movies I liked over the many years are....Superman: The movie (1978),
Superman II (1980),
Batman (1989),
Batman Returns (1992),
Batman Begins( 2005),
The Dark Knight(2008),
The Dark Knight Rises( 2012)
and The Man Of Steel( 2013). I hated these Dc movies the most...

Batman Forever,
Batman & Robin,
Superman III,
Superman IV: The Quest for Peace,
Green Lantern,
and that awful Joneh Hex.

The screenplay writers Chris Terrio & David S. Goyer are to blame for the mess of BVS. I don`t blame Zack Snyder for a director has to follow a script and take orders from the studio executives. All this hate for Zack Snyder pisses me off. He`s a good director that just had a fucked up script. Batman shouldn`t be Warner Bros. only success especially since they own all of the Dc properties.
I love what Marvel is doing, and right now they are on the winning streak. They just need to work on their bad guys. So far the only bad guys that work good for Marvel is Loki, The Winter Soldier, The Red Skull, and Zemo.

Lets see: Civil War storytelling mistakes.
Villain-1-Overly complicated plan to achieve his goal;
2-He could be easily removed and nothing would essentially change;(so he is redundant character)
3-Iron Man could have investigated further the case and the Villain could be found in a middle of the movie.
Baki- 1-Mcguffin and nothing more;
2-Camera conviniently placed in the middle of some road in some rural area so it can catch the killings.
Accords-1-Movie forgets about them;
2-Iron Man forgets about them;
3-Everyone forgets about them and continues chasing Baki Mcguffin...
Side characters-1-Why are they picking one side over the other?
Colateral damage-1-Psychological inconsistency; Im going to rephrase Joker here: "Nobody panics when things go "according to plan". Even if the plan is horrifying. If tomorrow I tell the press that I created Ultron, and that we will destroy one city only to bring him down, nobody panics, not even me, but when you say that one building floor has been destroyed, everyone looses their minds(including me who in the end forgot about accords I passionately fought for through the entire movie)...
Fight:-1-Emotional impact, nonexistent;
2-They are not going to kill eachother, everyone knows that, so their fight looked like sparing match;
3-"Look at us, we are avoiding colateral damage!!!" Why do we fight, again?
Emotions-1-No emotions what so ever. Unless you count looking at some forced sad faced inconsistent character to be emotionally impactful. Im so sad-That boy I killed was humanitarian activist and a good student-Audience please feel empathy?

And we are all friends again!
THE END
P.S.-There are much more mistakes and poor storytelling choices, but Im too lazy to point them out.

If your saying the script was bad why the hell is that Snyder's fault? And people can lie all they want and say Civil War was AMAZING but it was very non sensical and even childish paying only lip service to its themes w/ an ending that mad the entire film superfluous.
