The heroes, cards, and items will all exist on the blockchain as NFTs. Loot Heroes’ various game modes take inspiration from popular titles like Triple Triad (V1), Hearthstone (V2 Gameplay), Eternal Card Game, Gods Unchained, and more.

Recruiting (Breeding)
Okay here’s a caveat to breeding, do take note if you are planning to play this game in the long run. You can only recruit once every 5 days

To be eligible to recruit you will need one of the following

A [ LORD ] Hero with 3000 $LOOT
2 [ KNIGHT ] Hero with 4500 $LOOT
The Lord will be able to recruit a Knight or a Soldier, while the Knight will have a higher chance to recruit a Soldier than a Knight. Nevertheless, it seems like you likely have no chance to get a LORD type outside of the initial mint.

Gear Airdrops
Yes, the owner of HEROES NFT gets to receive randomized gear airdrop regularly. Over time, as more gear is available, the frequency will be reduced to avoid oversaturating the market. It’s mentioned that the quantity of gear received in airdrops will be based on the number of heroes you hold. And, there are gear sets bonuses that qualify for extra special airdrops.

What is Gear?
All heroes can equip gear, heroes will gain combat stats & abilities. As mentioned above, gears will be airdrops to holders but as the game and player progress, more gears will be won through gameplay or crafting (minting) in the loot forge.

Gear is also made available in the form of NFT, but once the gear is equipped it cannot be removed unless you equip another gear over it. It seems like all the gear is a one-time use NFT so players will need to make a decision whether they want to sell it on the marketplace or equip it to their heroes.
