About:
Batman: The Brave and the Bold is an American animated television series based in part on the DC Comics series The Brave and the Bold which features two or more superheroes coming together to solve a crime or foil a super villain. As the title suggests, the series focuses on Batman's regular "team-ups" with various heroes similar to the most well-known version of the original comic book series. This version has a much lighter and simpler, often comic feel, targeting younger viewers more than the character's other series. The series premiered on November 14, 2008, on Cartoon Network in the United States, and ended on November 18, 2011. It also aired in Canada on Teletoon. It was the first series produced by Warner Bros. Animation to be broadcast in high definition.

Batman is a superhero who appears in American comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by the artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger, and debuted in the 27th issue of the comic book Detective Comics on March 30, 1939. In the DC Universe, Batman is the alias of Bruce Wayne, a wealthy American playboy, philanthropist, and industrialist who resides in Gotham City. His origin story features him swearing vengeance against criminals after witnessing the murder of his parents, Thomas and Martha, as a child, a vendetta tempered by the ideal of justice. He trains himself physically and intellectually, crafts a bat-inspired persona, and monitors the Gotham streets at night. Kane, Finger, and other creators accompanied Batman with supporting characters, including his sidekicks Robin and Batgirl; allies Alfred Pennyworth and James Gordon; love interest Catwoman; and foes such as the Penguin, the Riddler, Two-Face, and his archenemy, the Joker.

Kane conceived Batman in early 1939 to capitalize on the popularity of Superman; although Kane frequently claimed sole creation credit, Finger substantially developed the concept from a generic superhero into something more bat-like. They drew inspiration from pulp fiction characters like the Shadow and Sherlock Holmes. Batman received a spin-off publication, Batman, in 1940. Kane and Finger introduced Batman as a ruthless vigilante who frequently killed or maimed criminals, but he evolved into a just, tempered superhero with a stringent moral code that prohibits killing during the 1940s. Unlike most superheroes, Batman does not possess any superpowers, instead relying on his intellect, fighting skills, and wealth. The 1960s Batman television series used a camp aesthetic, which continued to be associated with Batman for years after it ended. Various creators worked to return Batman to his darker roots in the 1970s and 1980s, culminating with the 1986 miniseries The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller.

Anything with Jensen Ackles is going to rock! The boy can act a lot better than people give him credit for. I'd watch it

Jensen would be a bad ass Batman, and would make an awesome Bruce Wayne. And he has the height too.

Don’t get how James gun loves several versions of Batman but fired most of the justice league. He could have had a reimagining without firing the cast.

In ANY iteration of Nightwing to come, Brenton Thwaite should be cast. His portrayal of Robin/Nightwing in "Titans" was as good as it gets. Brooding, leading, tactful, caring, giving - and I know he's just playing the part written for him, but he nailed it! Which brings me to another point. It's so pitiful the movies/series take so long to produce that an actor or actress we get to see as a character often look at it as just another job and won't or can't do a continuance OF that character (because a better deal comes up - to that type actor it's ALL about $$$), so we get newbies so diverse that the product becomes un-interesting and confusing, given all this multi-verse bullshit the writers can fall back on. I wasn't thrilled to see Pattinson doing Batman. Nuff said! And if #2 gets darker, we won't even be able to see it clearĺy! And The Flash movie. 💩💩💩! You can straight up RUIN a movie after a series has run by changing the lead character! My hope is that writing gets better, we have actors more serious and study the history behind their character, and the goofy (The Flash) portrayal of our favorite heroes stops.

I was excited because I thought it might be a live action version of Batman the Brave and th Bold cartoon series. Alas it's another dark batman that is trying to be an adult version of BTAS without getting the point.

I think it would have been better if they would have had the actor that played Bruce Wayne on Gotham to play Batman on brave and the bold

The best storyline that has all of Batman's characters good and bad would be a trilogy that starts with Knightfall, then Knightquest and finally Knightsend. All of Batman's bad guys are in this as well as Robin and Nightwing. NIghtwing would even be wearing my favorite Nightwing suit. Nightwing would need to be written in more of the storyline in KNightfall and knightquest cause he is only in one page in Knightfall and not at all in Nightquest so he would definitely need more time in each of those. He gets plenty of time in Knightsend. Alan Ritchson is the only logical choice to play Batman. To date, Affleck was the only Batman that made me say, "Now that is Batman." His fight in the warehouse in B v S was by far the best fight scene in any movie Batman was in. Nothing came close to watching Affleck man handle the bad guys the way he does in the comics. None of the miscasted actors who played Batman could do it. They were all to small and skinny. Ackles would be no different then they were. If you don't look the part you can't be the part and so far, only Affleck look like Batman. Ritchson would look even better. I am a huge Batman, Dick Grayson fan and have been for over 50 years. I of course watched every Batman movie but have been disappointed some what in all but B v S and JL with Affleck. Figures the only time they get it right with casting Batman, he doesn't get his own Batman movie. Not having Robin in :Batman 2 is again more disappointment. Robin is just as important to Batman as the batcave, batmobile, Alfred and the Batsuit. Yet his is left out all the time. When they did bring Robin in, they made him look like a whinny little brat and that is not who Dick Grayson is. The Dick Grayson character has been unfairly left out of the movies and that is bullshit. Gunn seems to be a continuing disappointment. WB is never going to get it right and I would love for someone else to get the rights to DC. WB continues there stupidity. As much as Batman and Robin have been a part of my life, I am stunned by how badly WB has sucked in making his movies. I liked the first one with Keaton because it was the first big screen Batman. I like Keaton as an actor and he had the best batsuit and batmobile. Just wish they would put Batman in the colors he wears in the comics but a bit darker gray and blue.
