The question about the balance between passion projects and paid work is always a funny one to me. I understand wanting to shoot something that truly touches your heart - but I find shooting anything (commercial or movie) makes me happy because at the end of the day, I’m creating art with a camera.

Okay but this is FREAKY، I have JUST started working on a screenplay for an animated short and i was studying how it will go down in terms of cinematography and i was looking for videos online but there wasn't much on the topic youtube-wise, and then my FAVOURITE EVER channel uploads this.
this must be a sign, I am legit so excited I haven't even watched the video yet I almost screamed when I saw it on my home page

Can you make a video on the differences in the viewing experience of a film shot on film and watched in a film projection v/s shot on film and watched digitally? Because many aren't aware of it.

Hi, great video as always.
I was just wondering if you could do a video about ads, and how different cinematic techniques are used in them.
Much love from Denmark :)

Funny that he used the Adobe Premiere icon for the NLE, obv it would be Avid, especially if it’s a job that shot on film stock.

Hello! Great vid. My question is: which way do you consider is most realistic to achive working in the film industry, feature films or short films? I've started by shooting shorts as they are easier to organize and cheaper, but I want to know your opinion. Thanks for the amazing content!!

What are you thoughts on starting out on big productions as a camera trainee or runner? Most of the 1st and 2nd camera assists and have been working in their positions for years only climbing the ladder very slowly.
