The Pudget Systems Bench was run in Davinci Resolve. Sorry for the confusion.

The keyboard never gets hot. This really matters when you are playing games... This is fantastic...

I was able to upgrade mine to 32 GB of RAM for less than $40 with a Crucial Kit on Amazon. And you are not wrong about the battery life. I get about 2 hours of web browser use without the charger. BUT... Being able to charge via the USB C Thunderbolt ports with a 100 watt+ charger is a great backup option and I use it all the time.

After a recent move I couldn’t find my power block, so I used the power block for my Mac and it worked just fine

very nice review! you were actually one of the few guys who actually told the truth about the battery life. I have bought a 16x version with i9, 32gb ram, rtx4060 GPU with a WUXGA display. The battery life is the worst part of the laptop with only 3-3.5 hours. You have to carry your charger and depend on it. It is also a litte bit noisy and it is hotter than my old lenovo z5070. I bought the asus for its lightweight and power but I really did not like the battery life, fan noise and temperature. I am almost regretful.

Nice review. I just got the Non OLED version of this machine. This same spec for 1000$ in Micro Center. The Non OLED version will have 1440p 240Hz display. It's still a very good display. All the color gamut are very good even it's not a OLED panel. A big win for me.

Some corrections. The 600nits is only for HDR. Normal content is usually under 400. The miniLED in macbook pros are significantly brighter and can reach over 1000nits in HDR and 500+nits in SDR. The weight is also at least 4.6lbs so half a pound heavier. US inflation is not the big price driver. All RTX laptops have a huge price premium attached because Nvidia has a monopoly. Laptops in Canada and Europe are significantly more expensive.

Just bought this with 32gb ram 1798.99. Good review, really enjoyed your thoughts. Crucial website claims it will take a 4tb SSD, I will be finding out. God bless you!

Fantastic value here for $1600~

Great review on the laptop. I have to agree with you that it is a great deal considering that it has the same top spec processor and the highest spec graphics card that the current ProArt Studiobook 16 has and considering that it is roughly 1k cheaper that isn't a bad deal and apart from the keyboard layout looking a bit odd and it having no gap between the number pads and the return key etc I would say it's a near perfect budget version of the ProArt Studiobook H7604JI except one huge thing that nobody ever actually points out when they compare the 2 laptops and that can be a deal breaker for some people. Yes it is a great OLED screen but unlike the ProArt Studiobook screen it isn't a touch screen

I have been charging mine while driving with a 12v PD 100 watt charger and was surprised how fast it charged.

Hi Spencer! Thanks for the review! The display looks incredible even on video. I'm considering buying this laptop used. Can you please tell me what are your CPU and GPU temperatures under heavy load for a long time? Have you done any CPU power reduction to lower the overall temperature since the cooling system is rated for 140W TDP (CPU+GPU). And do you use a cooling pad?

Im not sure you are correct about the RAM. I think there are 2 SODIMM slots, not just one.

so microcenter has it for 1249 right now... seems like I just shell out the $249 for the 64gb RAM upgrade and slide in a 4TB Samsung 990 pro and we're good here...

Such a great review for this laptop, I have a question that is which one do you choose between Zephyrus G14 2024 with 4070 and R9 8945HS OLED 120Hz 32GB 1Tb (for 1865$) and Vivobook pro 16x 2023 4070 with 13980HX and OLED 120Hz 32GB 1Tb (for 1630$) also I can upgrade Ram and SSD to crucial 5200Mhz 32Gb and Samsung 990pro 2Tb by giving up about 150$ which will make the total cost at (1780$) for Vivobook.
Actually my usage of both laptops will be going to watch Netflix and medium gaming with little bit spice of premiere.
(Excuse me for Bad English actually i learned it by reading books so im not good at that yet...)
