Hi Shawn. FYI.
You can repair almost anything with a mixture of crazy glue and baking soda. You put the glue on first then the baking soda. Connect it fast before it dries. it hardens very fast. It hardens like steal. 👍

Good that you didn't give up the search; that one looks worthy of repair, though I can see why it'd have trouble in the wind. Folks don't get how different the wind and temp are at 40 & 80ft up until they fly or climb. If you fly copters, you lose parts like props, sometimes body parts, sometimes the entire 'bird"; they depreciate quickly!

Your copter footage is an amazing and wonderful part of your work; each new video gets a "like" and full-screen. You teach that off-grid doesn't mean barbaric or uncomfortable, but beautiful and existential. You can't call 911 or support a large workshop, so everything is low-impact and low-waste. Having an industrious and enjoyable partner can literally be a lifesaver when remote. Thank you for the work and sharing.

Thanks Sean for sharing the video of your drone escapades. The footage it's always very nice to see! And feel sorry for your drone the suicidal fall it took was both bitter and hilarious, but, I sympathize anyway! Good Morning Sir! Once again, You're Ole Tennessee Friend here. I would like to say, when I first heard that you were having issues with your " MOVE IN'S " at the old place, I won't call them neighbors, because those are people you would normally enjoy. As you know in my line of work being a Deputy, I knew exactly what you were dealing with, I deal with those issues on an ongoing basis. BUT! .... The Preacher in me, got to thinking how this was going to turn into such blessing and a positive thing for you and you will have such a freshness that you'll do fine my friend. My wife Bobbi and I, pray for you and your family often, we will also continue. You're like me, you're a positive guy and you are able to bounce back. On a funny note, I was hoping we didn't have to "bring the boys up there" and get you some relief!! We play a little different down here you know.... Did you ever see the movie " Next of Kin " ? Just kidding! I wasn't gonna go to that extreme Now! Just trying to lighten the moment. :-) We'll just continue to pray for you and we'll wait to see just how this NEW venture unfolds, I know it will be WONDERFUL!!!! Hey, just think, Spring is coming! Consider a mavic pro 2 with the enterprise batteries. They are self heating and good for harsh winter conditions (I live in Sweden myself)
Plus the mavic air you had previously uses a WiFi signal that will fail in foggy/moist conditions whereas the mavic pro 2 uses a much stronger radio signal.

Love the drone footage. First time I tried mine crashed it several times due to wind. Going to attach a Tile like product so that I can find easier and add reflective tape patches. Have to be careful of balance though. Doug crashed his in the lake first time out. You'd think they would come up with a waterproof version by now.🤔
