First Jushin Thunder Liger, now The Great Muta.

I've never been the most hardcore, diehard, tape trading wrestling fan, but those two were low key "always there"- perpetually in the periphery since my brother got me on to wrestling in my early 80s childhood. Through Horsemen and Hulkamania, Hart vs Michaels, ECW, Austin 3:16, NWO 4 LIFE, etc... they were always guys that at least struck the "oh yeah, I heard of them" chord even when a lot of domestic US talent never reached such a level of name recognition being on TV every week for a couple years in [insert fed here].

And now, as a grown man in my 40s, it sounds weird that these two guys won't be around anymore. I get you can't do it forever, but The Great Muta was one of those that made it seem like some folks could.
