Will be there for 3 days in a few weeks and we are more the off the beaten path kind of visitors so Capri is a nice escape in the spring. Last time we were there we walked from the marina to Capri town vs the funicular. Not an easy trek but beautiful all the way there.

I've almost decided not to go to Capri after seeing your honest video. Been there once with a tour group on a quick whirlwind tour. I do want to see the Blue Grotto and maybe take the (dangerous?) chair lift, but the crowds and tedious day trip transport from Naples are a deterrent....

I just came back from Capri and I felt it is tourist trap thanks to influencer like you. I have been to many countries and I really felt influencer like you all just promoting wrong or you have not see other side of world.

Here is my take. First euro is not equal to dollar so be right on dollar terms.

Naples to capri boat 54 euro round trip.
From capri port to capri and Ana capri 30 euros round trip by private operators.

Yes there is public transport but that is also 3.70 euros one way.

After spending 88 euros you are dropped at Anacapri where there is nothing but shopping boutique and restaurants.
I asked information desk what Ami missing. He told spend another 18 euros to take lift to see 360 view. I was already salty with my experience so skipped.

We came down to capri and again same experience only shops and restaurants nothing else . Italian people wants your euros but I felt little unpleasant welcome with brown skin.

Water bottle cost 5 euros. That lemon sour gelato cost 7 euros for one scoop. One hot tea cost 5 euros.

There is better place to spend you money and time in world.
