What are your DC Comics recommendations for new readers? 🤔📚

I’m definitely more of a Marvel collector, but the top DC comics I have to recommend are mostly just read Batman haha.

1. Batman: The Killing Joke
2. Batman: Hush
3. Batman: The Man who Laughs
4. Swamp Thing: the Alan Moore run
5. Watchmen
6. Superman: Man of Steel
7. Batman: The Long Halloween
8. Kingdom Come
9. More Batman
10. Even more Batman… just buy Batman. Can’t go wrong with Batman.

As a relatively new reader I own and read six of the books on this list; so it’s a good list I think. 😃 One of the girst Batman comics I read was Court of owls and it was awsome. Superman Red Son is another good one for new readers I think…

Is Geoff Johns' Green Lantern really suitable for new readers? I wanted to read it, but I didn't because I heard there were other stories to read beforehand.
