Althogh this in not a new bike, but it is a very well maintained 2018 Kawasaki Z900RS. If you thought the Kawaski W650 / W800 was a good retro then this boy moves the bar higher. A very impressive retro which competes easily with er Triumph 1200 Bonnie.

Nice. Apparently they need a remap to rev out properly. Emissions - not Kawasaki's fault.
I'm looking for a second bike -( "naked" 100bhp+-) and this would be it but £10K is too much for me. I like the Z1 looks and the opposition the Triumph Speed Twin - idk, something dodgy about the Triumph range, recalls, poor service, over priced mostly etc and I have heard the speed twin is a rust magnet. YouTubers rarely mention this stuff if they're doing bike reviews(...)
... it an old Fazer 1000 for me then?

80s / 90s ( possibly 70s too but I aint that old) Kwaks were well known to have high RPM tick over on choke / cold start even on the early FI bikes but not as bad as the engines with carbs
