US House passes vital $61bn aid for Ukraine war

The US has approved a $61 billion aid package for Ukraine. It’s part of a $95 billion package providing security and humanitarian help to several regions.

The package includes $26 billion for Israel, $8 billion for US allies in the Indo-Pacific region, including Taiwan and $9 billion in humanitarian assistance in Haiti, Sudan and Gaza, among others.
