I don’t know if I could hang out there no matter how beautiful! I have a mild allergy that causes the area of mosquito bites to swell up and the itching definitely lasts more than 20 minutes for me… more like 3-7 days 😭

Mosquitoes are a breaking point for me. Unfortunately I seem to smell delicious to them and when walking with friends. They usually avoid them and flock to me.

Those things are 30x bigger than the mosquitoes where I live.

I recall my first summer in the Yukon I would squish mosquitoes onto the tops of the pages of my letters so people could see how big they got.

I remember it was a cool dry day and so I had on long johns and jeans and a jacket as the sun was going down...surely they couldn't get me through layers of clothing. As you know I was of course wrong.

I don't know if I'm mildly allergic to mosquitoes or if I'm just built different in a bad way but I tend to get swarmed by them while the people around me are completely untouched and the dozens of bites I get itch for days. It's almost maddening if I get too many.

Don't be afraid of the spray, get everything. I ate something my guts didn't like so i ran to the bush to do my thang and quickly figured out what parts of me weren't sprayed 😅😂

I would be the one to die...all bugs love me. I have reactions all the time to things I never see. But I would live with that hat on to enjoy such natural, raw beauty. ❤

I don't know what happened, but as an adult, I am no longer affected by mosquitos. They tend to go for me less, and I rarely use bug spray. Sometimes I just let them do their thing, I never get a bump nor an itchy spot. The bothered me as a kid, but no longer. The only annoyance is the tickling sensation, but I often don't feel that on my legs and arms. And no, I'm not paralyzed...
