In Scotland our spring starts here next Sunday and we still have rain, sleet, snow, gale force winds etc. Most of the crocus flowers have already sprouted and flowered!

With food costs I am planning out raising my own meat chickens. My county doesn't count chickens until they are laying. So I can have as many meat birds as I want lol. I also doubled my garden this year. I plan to have it tripled by fall.

We had 70⁰ weather Friday and 3" of snow yesterday!!🤦🤦. Gotta love E. TN!! I used to start early, but have found that I can literally start outside around Mother's Day and have great success!! Have had my seeds a couple of weeks now... patiently waiting 😊😊

We butchered meat rabbits. I cut it up and portioned in vaccum bags. The back bones went into a big roaster for rabbit broth. Have a blessed weekend family.

I always get my mom seeds for Easter. They have a big back yard and can plant a whole bunch of flowers or like food

lol...I almost choked when you said planting, because I know your growing season is exactly like mine. I'll be planting the first weekend in June and we have 90 days of growing. That's the one thing that stinks about living up north in the Midwest.

Started my seeds a week ago. Pretty close to 100% germ. I still have seeds to direct sow of different species. I certainly agree about succession planting. I wish you the best with your garden this coming year and many to come.

Being in zones 3-4 (technically 4, but grow both zone crops due to micro climates at my location), I'll be growing in ground under cover some of my most needed pantry crops.

We used to have somewhat of a large garden but it was getting to be too much for us we're almost 70. I bought some 10 gallon grow bags and bought just the seeds for our favorites. I got some seed potatoes coming too. We're in Michigan. We don't plant until after Memorial Day. Good video. Thanks!!

I got some of the Burpee bunching onion seed tape and I have never used seed tape before either, I also live in a cold climate, gonna start some seeedlings indoors, and going to make a microgreen garden with a clear dome asap so I can have fresh greens every day

Here in the SW desert we were in the 70's today but overnight lows are cold. Waiting a couple of weeks as we usually get one more week of Winter mid to late March.

I also make my own vegetable broth whenever I make up veggies for dinner. It comes in handy just like meat broth. One thing I canned this year that I'd never done before is canning my own lard. It turned out well, so now I have to can a lot more of it. A couple of years ago, I planted a lot of salad greens up close to my patio. Now I have all these greens growing wild in my yard! I think my neighbors think I'm a little looney when I go out & pick a bunch of stuff on the ground & carry it all inside. LOL Thank you for sharing.

Started seeds in the greenhouse and outside. Well North Central Florida decided to go down to 26 tonight 😒. Covered everything with layers of hay but at least the thunderstorms are gone! 😀💜

Making what little room we have left in storage for some types of pasta. Figure this might be the last time I see it in the stores. Think we can put seeds in the ground in the next month in northern Ca.
