Another added benefit of those longer ARP wheel studs is that they're made of much better material than the factory ones. They have a much higher tinsel strength and are way safer for use on a race track. Excellent video, as always. Keep it up.

Cool setup! I found your video looking for an 18" setup for a SS 1LE. Still not sure what I will go with. I'm not throwing rocks- On your wheel stud, while the hammer and press tool on the car is a normal mechanic shop practice for everyday cars. Taking the hub off and pressing the studs is the best practice. While more time consuming it is better to not be shocking the wheel bearing by hammering.

Doris the wheels look great! The only thing I will say is check how far the suspension compresses and make sure the front and rear wheel openings do not come in contact with the tires, they will cut down the side wall. If it's too close Eastwood company makes a wheel well lip roller that attaches to the hub and you carefully roll the lip up and out of the way. There is probably directions on how to use it but one thing you should do is warm the area with a heat gun like paintless dent removers do other wise the paint will likely crack.

Awesome...Now that looks like a true race ready ZL-E. But you forgot to tells us what brake pads you replaced the old ones with. OE Brembos again Or a track pad? I went back to the OE Brembos on my CTS-V, better fade resistance and pedal feel. Still have the dusting issue but I solved that by ceramic coating my wheels now its a little easier to wash em off!

Shaving weight on the unsprung mass, rotational weight and wheel momentum=more power to the ground and possibly decreased stopping distance. Do you have to recalibrate speedo for +5% difference? Are the fronts on the old tires wearing different on the insides? Or are you running a toe out for road courses or autox? Nice setup! Aesthetic mod, Craft Square side mirrors?

The wheels and the slicks transformed this car to a series track monster all its messing some weight reduction, cage and racing seats, i think between all of her cars the Camaro sounds so aggressive and looks the best.
