Fine work. I make my own as well, and have been using "double" hooks instead of trebles. Been fishing 60 years and have damaged too many fish with trebles trying to unhook them (especially pike). The doubles seem just as effective at catching, and the problem of driving one barb deeper while removing the other two (or vise versa) is gone, resulting in a quicker release and less damage to the fish.

My 10 year old son and I would love to try to make lures! I have no knowledge about fishing but he’s fallen in love with being on the water and woodwork. I’m going to save this and try some stuff out with him!
