I remember being so excited when I heard this movie was coming out as I was a huge fan of Desperado which I still am today. When I saw it, all I can remember was being so disappointed. I wanted to like this movie, but just did not enjoy it. This movie did not have the same feel as Desperado, in fact it felt too "Hollywood". The plot was way too convoluted and there were too many characters. In an attempt to one up Desperado as its sequel It was just missing too many of the things that made Desperado great. For me the Mariachi storyline ends perfectly at Desperado.

JUST realized this story is basically the first movie all in one story. The general is boocho Salma was the beautiful woman but a change in the story is she's the knife thrower from the first movie. And this bar fight is like the bar fight from the first because like in that fight Antonio and the numbers guy run out of bullets while in each others face like he n the general. Guy on the ground gun to his face like the first film guy that opened the case was thrown on the ground....yea basically the first movie just embellished and changed around worst than an Akira toriyama show
