Four toughness made her vulnerable to Flametounge Kavu, which was in the next set. She made for a TON of "feel bad" moments on either side of the table, mostly by her combo of being hard to cast, and hard to keep alive.

Strange how the errata on her is to creatures, while Empress Galina is to permanent.
I would honestly have assumed that Tsabo had protection from Legendary spells and permanents

Command Beacon + Discard Tsabo + Exhume. Also Black has decent mana ramp with Dark Ritual, Cull the Weak, Etc. Throw some Swiftfoot Boots/Lightning Geaves and Thornbite Staff and go after Commanders in EDH

The more I think about it, the more I want to build this!!! True that this color scheme is already good at it but like….. what if we made everyone’s creatures legendary? What if we put a new equipment in like sting the glinting dagger to untap every combat, for vigilance and to kill something else! I think a very slept on part of the card is that protection and first strike!! 7x3=??? You guessed it! Death to whoever doesn’t have blockers! Also there’s ways to just recur the nightmare over and over so even though it dies to removal, we have ways in these colors to just get it going again! Idk maybe I’m trippin but this sounds like a ton of fun! Also might lose some friends but hey at least it’s something unique!!!!

Give this thing vigilance so you can attack with it and hold it up as a blocker and use its ability. With that said, a repeatable kill legends ability is gonna piss off the table real quick. Good luck with the crack back
