So I’m heading down to Costa Rica the 16th of next month what size jig and Paddletails would be best to target roosters. I already bought two yozuri poppers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have an 8 foot medium heavy rod and a daiwa i bG 3000. Will that be enough backbone for those fish. Oh and by the way awesome video

I’m at Jacó beach right now as well. Will I be good to go with a 5-6 foot pole fishing from the shore or do I need something bigger. I was fishing this spot this afternoon and didn’t hit anything. What do you recommend to improve my odds? Thanks man, have a great day, God bless!
