The biggest thing I took away from this is how old I am. I grew up watching DBZK on adult swim watched DBS in my teenage years and now I’m in my 20s and didn’t realize how long ago DBS released.

They could have just had it so that when they fuse, Goku Black being mortal meant the fusion itself was killable due to the corruption

They couldn’t use the ssj4 rose form cuz ssj4 isn’t canon and ssjr 2 & 3 would’ve destroyed the power scaling cuz rose is equivalent to blue and there was nothing beyond blue but blue evo so having the rosé transformation reach a state higher than normal blue would’ve gave more potential for regular sayians which wasn’t viable at the time of the goku black arc. Goku black is my favorite db character and I definitely agree that he should’ve had a different ending.

I feel they should have let the containment wave work which makes black angry which allows him to gain a new form like ssjr 2 which would allow for a new form for goku and vegeta to learn in blue and have a satisfactory ending where all three saiyans combine their signature beam attacks into one huge one to destroy him

I actually ADORED this ending! It might be my favorite tbh. Its so cool having an enemy actually pretty much win and that it took the steongest being in the db verses be the only one who could take on an evil Goku who actually works with his partner. I wish they put more emphasis on thet being the reason they get better at fighting with each other in the TOP. Its mentioned by whis a little but yeah

I also wish they had introduced super Saiyan blue in this arc. Would've been perfect for Goku to obtain the new form when Black told him he killed chichi anf goten. Wouldve gave this form a new and memorable meaning. Also wouldve gave the God form more screen time.

Zeno intervention in my opinion was needed. Not only it showed us the full extent of his power, it also gave us a lot of info about how gods work and more.

It Would be a better arc if they had taken majin buu with them to absorb zamasu as a trump card, instead of relying on a old bottle sealing trick. Zamasu would have gave buu a slimmer form that could have been more useful in the tournament of power than him sleeping almost the entire arc without the need of frieza.

I still liked the way the ark ended seeing the Zeno use some of his power was interesting

The arc would've been much better if they also didn't have the time travel constantly back tracking and just had everything told in order, but also if they made it less complicated

I think if there was like a hint that zamasu was still out there even with the omni kings power nuke would have been cool. Like not even his power was enough and could use zamasu later and find a different way to take him out. We don’t need a kill even a maybe sacrifice like seal would have worked

I’m not against the potara nerf. But there were a lot of choices in the black arc I would’ve preferred changed.

1. Let vegito fight longer before the time limit expired or just don’t have him appear at all.

2. Give trunks SSB or at the very least let him show SSG. If vegeta could brute force the change without the ritual why couldn’t his son?

3. Ended it with the spirit bomb sword. Immortal or not atleast BS some explanation like he couldn’t regenerate the damage after the fusion. But bringing in Zeno was a cop out so they didn’t have an excuse to push the button later

I like this and honestly if they done this they could've introduced ssgss in this arc and have it be more powerful and meaningful and not just have it replace ssg right after it was introduced

I remember talks around when the Goku black arc came out of people questioning if zeno was even strong, truthfully it seemed like a toei move to showcase zenos power, whenever literally the next arc was the best possible way to showcase his power, just overall bad writing and no future planning ruined the Goku black arcs ending sadly

Yeah, but I also feel like people really do forget that there was more than just two rings there was four rings, so meaning there was four different timewise that needed to be right
