Ultimately this is the kind of stuff that reinforces the notion that the crypto world is one big shell game. Whales that market manipulate on coin price and mining equipment that becomes obsolete is such rapid fashion, but only after the chosen few make their bank. Most of us are little mice nibbling under the table while a few big boys sit at the table trying to convice the rest of us that we have a shot at making something out of it all. Bitmain usually price their rigs at approx 1yr ROI. If we use the 5000 miner sold earnings of $78/day that implies almost $30k price point. That is the best case.

BMs customers are professional farms for the most part. They can all do the same math as you and probably have. The price of the KS3 will have to be lower than we think to entice them to take what is clearly a huge financial risk. What are the odds that many of them pass?

Better question is: is Ice River buying the bottom tier asic chips from Bitmain or the manufacturer that is making the chips for Bitmain? Or did Bitmain figure out who Ice River's manufacturer is and bought out the manufacturer's capacity to build the chips for Bitmain? Or does Bitmain indirectly own Ice River?

Dont forget emissions of kaspa, with gpu or asics there is about 20% of minable profitable coins left. and only so many coins can get miner every 24 hours per the block rewards emissions meaning a bunch of people who buys these will only profit the first month they are bought and as more hit the network they will get less and less coins.... People thought asics would kill BTC...so much FUD. lol.
