You know, I feel a lot less guilty killing "Viola" all those times over during my first playthrough after getting the true ending.

I just realized. Letting Viola (Ellen) get caught by the legless girl (Viola) is the best good ending, because she'll switch back to her body and escape, while Ellen remain in her rotten body, nearing her deserved death. 😊

So... the secret ending is just the true ending but it reveals ahead of time that the person inside Viola's body was Ellen... considering what you have to do to get this ending, that isn't that worth it IMO HAHAHAHA

Here’s an except from Diary of Ellen’s (prequel story) from the black cat’s perspective that gives some closure that maybe karma will be served

“Oh well. To put it right out there, I doubt she can live a decent human life. I mean, she’s an unbelievably sheltered girl.

She’s clever enough that I’m sure she can avoid suspicion for a while. But she’s a witch, y’know? Everything about her invites ruin.

Who’ll break first: her, or her father? Either way, I don’t doubt she’s on the way to destruction. I can’t even imagine a peaceful life for her. I could see her showing up any second now to tell me something. Will you be smiling or crying when you do? That I don’t know. But I’m sorry, Ellen. Anyone know games like this where the bad guy win in the end? Most game always had the good guy win in the end and tend to shy away from cruelness which makes witch house very UNIQUE
