Serious question for you… I’m studying to get my life and health & property and casualty licenses. I should be licensed by summer. My goal is to work entirely from home, and I want to be a free agent versus captive. My girlfriend is disabled, so I really need to stay home and be able to care for her as she works full-time from home. We are thinking of going into the insurance business together! I really want to help people, make a good living and succeed. I’ve had a lot of experience in sales including 5 years of telephone sales experience and 15 years of high and retail sales experience so I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to do a great job with this. Were you ever a captive agent or have you always been free? I’m 51, btw. This is my mid life career change and I’m really excited.
