I knew this was gonna happen...
God, I hate the concept of moderating people's avatars, because it just opens the floodgates for malicious targeting and false reporting like this. In an attempt to target bad actors and reaffirm "children's safety" on the platform, there is now an exploitable vulnerability to get someone's entire account deleted because what they wear may or may not be used inappropriate.

I think reports should ONLY be limited to a person's behavior on the platform, not their appearance, because so many people judge a book by its cover and fail to realize many of people with this "sus" or "offensive" avatars are not as depraved or as disgusting as they think.

Combining the Moon hat and a random pair of glasses will flag you because of it resembling the McDonald’s mascot called Mac Tonight and at some given point people made memes of the mascot in a racist way.

Edit: it wasn’t just racist memes about it, it was also used for memes in a terrorist fashion.

The reason why people get banned for wearing this hat:
The hat is for some reason flagged as being inapropriot.
The reason why this happens is that the AI perhaps confuses the hat with Moon man.
Moon man was a Burger King mascot that existed during the 90s but became a hate symbol in the internet and has since been banned from majority of communitys.

He is actully called Mac tonight and was a McDonalds mascot for a period of time.

1:45 i think the reason bans are happening with the moon hat, it seems like it has something to do with McDonald's old mascot mac tonight, tho the character, mac tonight hasbeen parodied into some very, very bad stuff...which is probably why McDonald's stopped using mac tonight because they didn't want more people to make racist parodies of the jazz moon man, and the bans are probably due to that, not specifically mac tonight, but the parodies that are used for very, very bad things that took macs design and character and flipped it into a bad image
