How to check internet connection performance and speed

Many a times you may experiance that your internet connection performance is very bad. Pages take long time to load or the response to a click takes long time. When you call the ISP or the internet service provider, they say there is no problem on thier side. This simple 'ping' command will help you know if your internet connection is really slow or not.

round trip time (RTT) is depending on location of client and the server...if it is long distance it will take longer time..

mine request timed out is coming after 3-4 ping and my time ranges from 300 to 500 but mainly goes at 1000 to 1200 ms

that's good but ihave a proplem my ping was 80 average 1 month ago now it's 1500 average and im alone in this router network i contacted my internet support it sayed "we dont support ping for online games" i dont know what happen
