I’ve used swabs for years with warm water, press in twist it and back out and all the nasty gunk comes out. Yes it pushes it back in but when new wax comes it presses it back out again so you’re really taking little wax at a time

My earwax is really greasy/oily and I've been cleaning my ears with q-tips since middle school. I never get ear infections, unless water gets trapped in my inner ear. But I do get pimples in my ears and my ears will start to itch if I don't clean them out. Plus I use earbuds, and they'll get all greasy if I don't clean them. My doctor has never told me to stop and always remarks that they look good. I can't go to the doctor every few weeks to get my ears cleaned. That's just ridiculous. I just never jam a q-tip in my ear, I go in with a damp q-tip and very gently clean around the ear canal and roll the q-tip, pulling out greasy wax, rather than pushing the q-tip in and out. You just have to be really careful. But it also depends on what kind of ear wax you have.

I'm trying to get rid of it with over the counter medication.. It's a 3-day thing. Hope it works. I don't wanna go to the doctor lol.

I never knew this! My entire family uses Q-tips, I rarely use them because I made my ear bleed when I was younger.
I thought I had an ear infection because I didn't clean my ears enough, guess I was wrong.

Why do they make Qtips/cotton swabs if they're bad for your ears?!

My ears get so itchy every single day. My doctor told me not to do anything to my ears. It's been three days now and my ears are itchy, so sore and my ringing has turned into a thumping. It's so horrible! It's literally nearly
5am over here and I've been awake yet again most of the night because they're itchy and sore. Please help me, I don't know what to do and I don't trust my doctor at all xxx

How long is a typical full cycle for the wax to come out naturally?

So to clean my ears I need to spend hundreds of dollars on a single doctors appointment. I see. Very useful indeed.

I was told that rinsing each ear in the shower is quite effective. The warm water goes in and comes back out with ear wax.

the only way this could be interesting enough is to make it a joke. Saying this is "amazing stuff" is the now standard 2013 code for automatically filtering out what you hear afterwards.
