Hopefully these transitional housing are for the “actual” homeless Hawaiians who by raise of rent and/or loss of proper income left them houseless. Because if your designing those “tiny homes” for non-Hawaiians that came from “leave my state fund” and got a cool plane ticket ride to paradise. You ARE going to cause problems with homeless from the mainland flocking into Hawaii with those kinds of services. It will attract them like magnets. Start sending back to their families or a segregated home like the coast of Florida since they are attracted to island life. You will be using financial “burden” funds that should be used for the island’s resident intentions. It’s like Miami, that city assist certain ethnicity people because of serious human law violations, next thing you know, they flock into the city and residents in aid gets $10 of food stamps while they get 3-digit food stamps. Then the jobs are compromised, those in school for job training and/or in college for specific job preparation loses the jobs and are stuck paying student loans because their jobs were given to people whose prior home didn’t have those kinds of jobs. I witnessed this, I worked with the ongoing complaints and frustrations associated with some people taking advantage of funds and services while legitimate people are left out. I wouldn’t be saying this if I weren’t a victim myself who was trained for certain jobs and didn’t get it because I was the wrong ethnic group. 🤔 I’m glad someone from the mainland is willing to help my concern is with what kinds of strings attached. Land is very limited on any island and to have proper resources is a challenge. The Hawaiians don’t want any more dents in their wallets, they are struggling enough as it is. 🫶🌺

And who's supposed to pay for all this? And who's gonna monitor and police them to prevent lawlessness, drug's or no drug's, if it's illegal for law abiding citizens then the same laws need to apply to homeless encampments as well!!!

90% are 1 paycheck away from Homelessness. Fix our Money and adopt BTC like ElSalvador or else will all be living under the Great Reset motto of "you'll own nothing, have nothing, eat bugs and be happy"! Broken money leads to war, economic turnoil and a future where we all will be living in small urban boxes and paying carbon taxes with digital dollars soon.
