thanks for the video what i would like to know when doing 3d photography do you focus on the same point or are both cameras just facing parallel to infinity

This setup is not very practical. Much better option to my opinion is to either use Fujifilm W3 camera, or buy Pentax Stereo Attachment. Yes, it has mirrors splitting the image, but is significantly less bulky, and does not need tripod or multiple cameras in sync. All you need is any autofocus lens for 49 or 46 mm filter size. And you can take a camera with the adapter anywhere. You can then edit the image if you shot raw.
