I agree that the writing in this show wasn't the best 💀 However it's one of the few shows that somehow peaked my interest enough for me to finish it and I always believed that the world building had potential. I rewatched it recently because it popped into my head the other day and found myself basically rewriting the show as I went along. I think it would have benefited on focusing fully on different characters for each season instead of laval all the way through (such as cragger for season two trying to redeem himself and connecting with the new tribes desire for chi) and then Eris for season three (they tried with that but it always looped back to Laval 💀) fleshing out the characters more as you said would have also helped along with other details I can't be bothered to list in a comment. I suppose I love chima for nostalgia and what it could have been 🤷

I loved chima as a child. I played the DS game and had like 10 chima sets. But as for today, it's just this one show that existed and that's about it. Which is pretty sad, because it hadma lot of potential like ninjago

I watched the first two episodes like a few days ago and ended up analysing the actions of the cast than acc watching the show. Like I kept on pausing and just laughing to myself, I do hope the writing gets better as I do have fond memories with this show- Like today (as I'm writing this) I somewhat found myself humming the intro song because god dammit it's catchy and rest of the music is beautifully done from what I've seen. Wish it had better writing as I cannot take some moments seriously, while other moments will be great, some will feel a tiny bit lacklustre. Again I'm still early on so I may come back to rewrite this comment to cement my feelings on the rest of the show

This was one of my favorite shows as a kid. I think I just thought the world building and animal tribes were cool.

if it was the lego sets alone, the series would honestly be pretty great. Its quite creative and unique in a way that only rly works in the lego format or in animation. I feel like they could've captured the series' potential a lot better in a cartoon, and the show would've been amazing. The idea was good and the whole thing felt inspired, maybe not to a point of rivaling ninjago but to make second place

i didn't watch the video cuz i don't have time but my opinion on it is that the story etc the whole thing could've been used and written better the idea of the show isn't the greatest but it's rich, i watched it as a kid and now when i grown up i went and watched it again, i had mixed feelings on it, it's cool but bad at the same time i felt like it could've been made in a better way like better story and events, ofc i want the same lego look, just the events etc.

I still love, legend and Chima every watching it as becoming an adult. I can really say this show has some mixed back of writing. I don’t really hated. It goes back-and-forth because Season One did a good job on flushing out the work while Season Two pick up already left off but later mixed with the whole different monster thing which was kind of lacking because I kind of wasted. Then Season Three came. I have mixed feelings with this, but I can say it does have potential but didn’t do flush out with the characters. I feel like 22 minutes for rush. I feel like around 15 minutes blasting battles and rushing moments, etc.

Legends of China had 3 seasons and it ended I know ninjago had beated it with a lot of their seasons but yeah I still enjoyed it to!

I am sorry but I did not heard any senseable argument in the video. I totally disagree with things you are saying in it, such as the characters are flat, that is so not true and you did not provide any reason to support your steatment. Also the animation is awsome, wtf are you talking about? Ninjago is way worst and the characters are acting like dumb asses all the time. Also Chima made sense from the start to the end and season three was hinted in season one. Unlike ninjago which had like 2 seasons that made some sence before turning into repetitive cringe show. Chima is the best series to ever exist (along TBBT) and I think you shall rewatch it but not think about it as hater from the start.
