Blame others for one's failure is a sign of weakness.

Who did it? American CEOs and stakeholders that wanted lower production costs by low pay workers. American politicians that helped them as well.

Well said. Every time I get in a discussion with people over China, I tell them China didn't "steal" our innovation, or manufacturing, or work ethic. Its the opposite, we just handed it to them for the cheap labor. People unfamiliar with "making things" don't understand. You can't ask someone else to make your stuff, unless you tell them, in detail, your innovation and plans for that "thing". Everything at the store is made in China, yet our politicians, who have no ability to make anything, now call China "the enemy". Even much of our pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical chemicals come from China. We'd better not make them mad, otherwise we will have to learn to go without just about everything that makes our lives modern and good.

We destroyed our own manufacturing ourselves. It was very deliberate over many years, and anyone who dared to even raise an eyebrow over it was called a "naysayer". People seem to have amnesia about this now. It's delusional to blame other countries and hold them responsible. Actually, it is shameful.

Blaming others for our own failure is the easiest thing but doesn't solve a thing.

This is an important video that lays bare the fallacy of American propaganda that vilifies China, Russia and others for the very problem of American monetary malfeasance. American foreign policy and deceit has inflicted a terrible cost on people around the world. The US Dollar, as a fiat reserve currency, has been nothing but toxic. Thank you Lena.

When you do something wrong, the easiest exit is to blame someone else, at the cost of learning nothing from your mistakes, so you will keep doing things wrong until you fail once for all.

Was a programmer, saw Asians taking over, became a Science teacher to try to help our kids, found you can't teach programming to kids unable to do basic Math. Schools are just glorified day care centers. Our children are uneducated! I quit.

Great content as usual, Lena.

I was born in the early 1950s, so I saw the US at its peak in the 1960s & early 1970s. One word can account for the increasing poverty and hopelessness and that word is: GREED. Greed spread through boardrooms and in our Federal Government and regulatory agencies became a way to get rich by working for those you were supposed to be regulating. The bloated officer corps of the US military is the worst in this regard. Our military sucks so hard, it’s a crime.

As George Carlin said if you keep voting the same people into power how can things change.
This has been happening for at least 50 years, nobody seemed to care.
