I'm a huge procrastinator & just put the water in after having received the product in December 2017 (it's March 2018 now). Mind you I wasn't sure if I wanted to put it in the spare bedroom or the basement. Opted for the basement and just had flooring and painting done so that worked out. I love it so far though as others have noted, the seat does make some click noises once every few strokes so hopefully it's not killing the bearings prematurely. The vertical adjustment seems like it needs adjusting every time I use it which is a bit inconvenient. I put mine on top of those puzzle mats so that Should help keep the machine working fine even if the middle foot is lower than they want it to be part of the time. I came here to see if you touched upon the monitor turning off eventually and as I'm finishing this comment I see that it did. I hope this rower lasts for YEARS as it was close to $700 and that's after a discount Costco has running during the holidays. So far it's inspired me to get back into fitness and I'm incorporating it in with some weights, and body weight exercises. Thanks for the detailed video, it definitely assured me that I had the right understanding from the instructions. You didn't show how to use the siphon, but once I squeezed it I realized it needed repeated squeezing and wasn't just going to keep flowing, which is probably just ignorance on my part with how a siphon works.

I need to replace the bungee on my rower. Do you have a video focused on that?

when tightening the tension bolt at the end, should I be able to still to move it? This has been one of the more confusing steps. I have inserted the rod through the dampener and used the alley wrench to tighten, but it doesn't seem to catch.

Thanks for this instructional video. I was alright until I got to the place where the vertical adjustment bolt was installed. You saved me.

Your video helped me a lot! Question: did you find that you had to put anything under the tension adjustment nut to keep it from tearing up the flooring underneath?

Not sure why you left out how to attach/wind the pulley? Can’t use this machine unless you can attach the pulley.

How would you say this one compares with the "WaterRower Classic Rowing Machine in Black Walnut with S4 Monitor" which is made of WOOD. Does it make any difference ( metal body or Wood body). Although the wood one looks asthetically good than a metal water rower. But the Cost of this is $799 at costco and the Wood Rower costs $1500.
