Nothing fancy, I just really love this song and I thought I would cover it.

I couldn't find any tabs for this song, so I learned it by ear.

@Jacobgordonguitarist Born of Osiris used this tuning in their latest album. Before that, they used drop C I believe. Try a bunch of different tunings and see what you like best. You don't need to stick with one. I'm quite enjoying drop A these days.

It is an absolutely amazing song.
I love my sc-207! I wasn't a big fan of the stock pickups though. I replaced mine with a Bare Knuckle Aftermath.
Try out a few different 7 strings before you buy. There's a tonne of great 7s at that price range.

It's a good guitar! The MH-417 looks great as well.
I didn't use any fancy hardware for this video. All the software I used (the amp sim, the daw, etc) is free, and it was recorded through a very cheap interface.

I typically use the Ernie Ball Power Slinky 7 string set (11 - 58), but for this tuning, I'd recommend getting something heavier.

I'm sure I understand what you mean. If you want to tune by ear to drop G, I'd try using Guitar Pro... but I'd definitely recommend using a real tuner.

@adrinhxc The extra string, and the added thickness that comes with it obviously takes some time getting used to. I'm still trying to get used to playing solo-y stuff on it, but it's definitely worth it!

@andrezknz I have the input set to 0 actually, otherwise it clips to hell. I can't say I'm a fan of the US-100.

How do you like that guitar? I've been looking into it and would want to upgrade it, because the 607 is way out of my price range
