If this was 2010 PH, everyone would've been throwing chairs at each other during the drafting stage

emote was banned from this tournament but somehow a player with the ign of "jackol" that literally means masturbation got to play what a sick joke this tournament was.

seeing as to how the Philippines is trying to rebuild it's League of Legends competitive scene, this is NOT what a good representation of it

For some additional context, Viridus Arcus, the team that was losing, had an ADC player who's name violated the "no toxicity" rules as their name literally means masturbation in Filipino.

Also VA are just a notorious org. Theyre from the most expensive school in the Philippines, their students are notoriously spoiled and entitled. Their Mobile Legends team have many wins from disqualifying their opponents for also using emotes when most teams wouldnt even care about emote usage, rules or not.

This is also just an issue with the organizers, the marshals did not do their job and check if the players had emotes on or not.

organiser looking exactly like someone who would ban celebrations in a football match

And to this day, people on FB pages of PH League are posting games where the crying and whining VA Defile is in their team and are asking for money as low as 1 to 2 dollars if they want to throw the game and make Defile lose. Sometimes, people give more to the players posting screenshots that has VA Defile in their team. Hell, some even don't ask for money at all and just do to spite him. It's wild, but well deserved I guess lmao.

That org is trash for disqualifying a team for an emotes. In pro dota scene, you will hear unlimited voicelines and tippings, remember torontotokyo when he chatted 'ez game' to OG at TI. OG didn't complain neither valve. That is why dota 2 is way better than LoL here in PH.

If emoting is hate speech, then teabagging is sexual assault.

The second rule is wilder. Basically no being toxic, IN A LEAGUE GAME, *WITH PH PLAYERS*

lol, meanwhile in Dota2 they spam up to TI and we love them for it!!! ❤️🤣

Everyone in PH solo Q is now trashing the player who complained about the emote lol

I'll never understand the war on trash talk, this has been a right of passage for any type of sport since creation of competition, why are we constantly trying to villainize it
