Given that Hollow Knight: Silksong hype is at an all-time high (at least for me) and it's releasing first on switch (and PC)
I'd love to see Hornet in the game somewhere, hopefully as a fighter.

Shovel Knight's been featured on multiple Super Smash Bros like Indie games, his shovel is pretty iconic and he's gradually turning into a household name. Shovel Knight's installment is imminent.

On a side note I really want rayman in smash

definitely want Shantae ( she's been ret-2-go for years! ) and Shovel Knight, Dorothy/Rusty would be great ( haven't played 2 yet, but I love the first Steamworld Dig ). Snipperclips I could see getting a stage and/or music ( plus collectible "trophies" of course ), especially since they're a Nintendo owned game. Can't get behind Snake Pass though...just makes zero sense to me.

I'd also love to see:

Lilac ( Freedom Planet )
Patty Wagon ( Mighty Switch Force series )
Juan/Tostada ( Guacamelee )

What makes you guys think we'll see indies in the game anyway? We've never had indie characters in Smash before, I don't think we should assume otherwise.
