I darn near went bald using coconut oil. My hair hates it. It made my hair very dry and brittle and I have very fine strands of curly hair. I should have done more research. I only use shampoo, conditioner, a leave in and oil no heat and my hair thanks me

Coconut oil + vitamin E on my scalp was the only thing that finally got rid of some dandruff I previously had. The scalp meds & shampoo from the dermotologist did not help at all. I only let coconut oil + vitamin E soak for an hour on my scalp though cuz I was afraid it'd clog my pores. Then, I'd wash it with sulfate free tea tree oil shampoo with sulfate free argan oil conditioner. Coconut oil is good for your hair if you live in a dry climate too & it protects it from breakage. Just thought I'd share some tips that cured my scalp & hair if anybody out there has dry scalp or dandruff. Thankyou for doing a vid on coconut oil cuz it's my favorite besides a little rosemary mint oil on my ends every now & then. - Colorado🏔

Thank you Queen. I just came from Walmart and bought some LOL. I have long 4C hair that dries easily and I really need a good moisturizer and I heard coconut oil really moisturizer my texture! What do you suggest for your scalp then?

I think it depends on the person bc my hair went through terrible breakage at one point (d/t stress) & I used coconut oil to moisturize my scalp & alternated with coconut milk (my profile picture shows my results).
