Time Won't Wait - Jamiroquai (2005) - bass MM Sabre '79

Good enough for a quick 20-minute after-work jot down !! :) (never heard or played this song before, recently discovered it in the playalong list of the delicious Marta Altesa).
I rarely play my Music Man basses with roundwounds, and even less with the bridge pickup and bass & treble EQ full open, so had to adapt a little to this very upfront sound... luckily I've been playing this specific bass for like 18 years or so, so not such a great deal after all.
And a kick it gives... isn't that typical nasal, bubbly Stingray sound awesome, even more so coming out of a 35 year old bass ?? It keeps you wondering on what then existing bass or sound Leo Fender based himself on to create this pickup configuration in '76. Nothing similar was mainstream at that time, only JB and PB and maybe some Gibsons and other rare stuff with clunky dark round double-bass-like sound. Unbelievable that almost 40 years later - this sound is still regarded as hot, funky and groovy by young cats that pick up bass just now. How much more of an industry-defining product creator can you be... ?
(note to critical viewers: apparently and inadvertently I tuned my bass half a tone up...so the positioning will be different from what you see on other playalongs)
