I'm 55 now but introduced my 16yr old son to 1970's music and Todd Rundgren. He loves this song and "Hello its me".

I’ve loved this song since I’ve heard it in the early 70s. Todd Rundgrun is a major inspiration to other artists.

Funny how some songs are timeless! I had the something/anything album on an 8 track, sometimes it would play all nite, over and over! I'm 65 and still love this song!

I love this still in 2023. The lyric “and we’re through with you we’ll get you one too”. 🥰

Todd is a WIZARD A TRUE STAR! He had the right to call an album that and his voice and persona have both stood the test amazingly well. I will never forget the year of 1990 when I was 14 years old, got turned on to his albums, and our stray mama cat had kittens under the bed and anything Todd made her happy and now I'm 48 and this man made me a serious musician myself. Talented beyond measure and an iconic artist still with us long after Prince, Bowie, and the others we lost. Todd is the greatest.

Amazing. Been listening since back in the day, still strong and relevant!

I remember buying this single for 87 cents at the drugstore downtown. I wondered who this "Runt" guy was, but I've been a fan since then.
