The Greatest Common Factor (GCF) vs the Least Common Multiple (LCM)

Показать описание
In this video we see what is the difference between finding the Greatest Common Factor (GCF) and the Least Common Multiple (LCM) of two numbers using Prime Factorization.
For the GCF collect all the common factors with the smallest exponents.
For the LCM collect all the factors from any of the factorizations with the largest exponents.
The two examples include the numbers 8 and 12, and 120 and 84.
