If you don’t have Aged Mahogany, Brushed Corduroy, Frayed Burlap & Stormy Sky Distress Oxides, I think you’d really enjoy those colours. Especially Brushed Corduroy. Trust me - I wore brushed corduroy when I was a child & NEVER would I have thought it would end up as one of my favourite Distress Oxide colours, especially when I’m usually a jewel tones kind of girl lol). But when it oxidises & mingles it is soooo amazingly interesting. Especially if you get the Distress Oxide Sprays rather than the ink pads. Antique Linen is another fun one. They have really interesting tones of browns, blues & creams with an occasional rusty & oxide green hint that come out well if you spray, let them blend a bit & add some water to let them wander around a page & mingle.

Would you PLEASE do some videos of your landscapes mixed media that has other elements like trees/animals/flowers or humans in I would love to see your abstracts with those included. That’s a really lovely colour & texture mix. If you flip it portrait mode (I moved my phone & the picture didn’t shrink so it happened randomly) you have captured what looks like a snapshot of the most gorgeous tree bark from one of our Australian Eucalyptus trees. I can’t think of the species, but when the bark gets wet, it comes up with very similar colours with different browns, red, the subtle pinky colour, that raw sienna & a hint of green. A bit like the Rainbow Eucalyptus tree, or the Scribbly Gum. But not. Wish I could think of the name of the one I’m thinking of, but we have so many species.
