Despite a slight recession, Germany has overtaken Japan and is now the 3rd largest economy, unfortunately the British have fallen to 6th place as India is now in 5th place.

Yes how true. England is a sister country. I feel the same as you feel when you are looking at Germany. When I am in England, which is on a regular basis. I always think how similar the two countries are. When I drive thru the English landscape I actually can't find any big difference at all.

France only wanted to say yes to German reunification if Germany introduced the euro. It was blackmail. But as the video explains, it helped the German economy.

Hi Dwayne, you asked why Germany switched to the Euro. The answer is complex but 2 of the reason was 1 the reunification of Germany M Thatcher and the French President told Germany that Germany in order to become one again they have to get rid of the D-Mark and the other reason is and was Europa is Germany's biggest market and if you don't have to exchange your Money you can sell cheaper:

Uk hasn't been in the center of WW2. It was never occupied or had a war on its ground, besides some bombing. In the center of WW2 has been Germany, France, Poland, Italy, Russia, Netherlands, Belgium.

14:43 I think most people stil have a huge misconception about the Wirtschaftswunder. Fact is that almost no production facilities where destroyed. The main reason the econemy collapst in late 1944 is that the transport infrastructur was almost completely destroyed. Another factor in favor of a quick economic rebuild was that more than half of german houses where destroyed, which boosted the construction industrie.

3:25 As far as I know ruzzia's area is over 70% Asian. We should only count the countries that are/were members of the EU or are candidates and the NAFTA states Switzerland and Norway to Europe. Some say Aserbaidschan, Armenia etc. that are fully Asian or Middle East are part 'Europe' but I don't think that we should include them under that description.

Many of the machines used in the world to make goods are made in Germany. For example the German company DESMA is world leader in producing machines to make shoe soles. We take the Euro cause it weeks our Currency with, as said in the Vid, let the exports explore. And as a Nation living from Export it was a Profit for the economy. That s the reason taking Greeece depts.

hey Dwayne, no offense, but I think you have a slight misconception of the world war 2. The UK was nowhere, near the center of the world war, in fact it only got involved when France and other countries where overrun by Germany and asked for help. Even Hitler wouldn’t have tried to attack Britain openly because of the sea dominance of Britain at that time. If anything you could even say that Britains contribution to the Anti Nazi ally wasn’t really doing much. Only when the U.S. entered the fight, the allies could turn the tide and push Germany back out of mainly all Europe. And even more so, hardly anything in Britain got destroyed in contrast to all of the rest of Europe
