Lambano Christmas Appeal: Our Hopes And Wishes

We are coming to the end of a challenging 2021, where we continue to be a pillar of strength in the community. Even in the midst of a worldwide pandemic we have carried on with the work at our Children’s Medical Step-Down/Hospice Facility (Lambano), where we specialise in holistic care for children with life-limiting and life- threatening illnesses/injuries.
As an NGO, we rely on funding from our community members as well as private and corporate donors. As has been experienced by many organisations, there has been a downward trend in giving and support and therefore a tremendous lack of funding. This has resulted in us struggling to pay our staff salaries. In spite of these challenges, our staff have remained loyal, and dedicated to caring for these sick children.
This year we would like to ask for monetary gifts as a show of appreciation to our staff, to thank them for how they serve wholeheartedly. They are the heartbeat of this organisation.
